This ultra-contemporary house evolved through the building process so that it looks very little like the architect originally drew it. While the house itself is very stark, it is balanced by the colors used in the furnishings and artwork to give it warmth. Because of the hard surfaces attention had to be paid to acoustic by offsetting walls and fabric of the furnishings. Because of the view of the Intercoastal window placement and heat and glare management were also important.
